Who I am
I’m L., writer, music lover, and cannabis fangirl.
What’s Chronicling Chronic?
Canada legalized the sale and use of recreational cannabis on October 17th, 2018.
Since legalization, I’ve been experimenting with pot to help with chronic pain, anxiety, and insomnia. I also consume it for fun.
With Chronicling Chronic, I’m documenting my journey with cannabis while helping to reduce the stigma that still surrounds its use. The myth of the lazy stoner and all that.
I also want to help make cannabis accessible to adults who are curious about trying it but aren’t sure where to start or feel overwhelmed by the information that’s out there.
Lastly, while there is excellent content coming out of the USA, Canadian cannabis laws and products are vastly different. I want more Canadian content (especially now. #ElbowsUp) so I decided to make some.
Who I’m not
I’m not a doctor. I’m not qualified to give medical advice and you should talk to your healthcare team if you’re considering adding cannabis to your lifestyle.
I’m not a lawyer. I’m not qualified to give legal advice. Cannabis is a controlled substance in Canada, and you should seek proper legal representation if you need assistance.
