Hello 🙂 Thanks for your concern for my well-being. It means a lot to me.

You’re welcome to stay in good faith, and I’m happy to talk to you about cannabis.

Still freaking out a little?

Ask yourself this: Would you react the same way if I was reviewing wine or beer?

Alcohol has been widely accepted in social situtations for decades, but cannabis use is still stigmatized.

I don’t drink alcohol. It’s a migraine trigger, so I avoid it.

Cannabis may not be for you, but I’m grateful every day that I have access to legal, quality pot in Canada. And sometimes after a long day, a little pot hits the spot.

While just getting high can be fun in the right situations, cannabis as medication has changed my life.

I deal with chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia, but I avoid painkillers and other drugs unless absolutely necessary. I have been on and off a variety of medications throughout my life, and have dealt with enough unwanted side effects that I wanted an alternative.

Adding cannabis as part of my pain and wellness management has helped me reduce the amount of painkillers and other drugs (prescription and over the counter) I need to take. I’m generally lucky that I can avoid some of my triggers through lifestyle choices, and my heart goes out to fellow sufferers who need stronger meds.

And no, I’m not high all the time. I plan for responsible consumption as part of pain and wellness management.

All of that to say keep an open mind, and have a look around. You might learn something cool! If it’s not for you, no hard feelings. 🙂
